Before hitting up Music City, everyone should stop at The Old School, a delicious farm to table restaurant that in 1936 was legitimately a school house they restored. It’s only ten minutes away from downtown Nashville. Totally worth the drive. If this Instagrammable chair doesn’t make you want to check it out, they have a beer garden, delicious food, and quaint outdoor seating with a view of the farm.

Toasted baguette, dippy eggs, and prosciutto wrapped asparagus.

Just look at this spread! They have adorable little roosters running around the grounds. How else do you think they made these delicious dippy eggs? Also, the prosciutto wrapped asparagus is to die for.

The gorgeous outdoor venue at The Old School. (Since my last visit, they added a Dog Park!)

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try their brunch on my last trip, but they have an incredible summer brunch menu with house made croissants, fresh burrata, and of course a “full farmer’s breakfast.” According to the menu it’s made with farm eggs any way, bacon, scrapple, house made biscuits, charred seasonal vegetable, butter & marmalade, and I need to go back to try this ASAP!

A venue with a chalkboard menu is always a nice touch, especially when you know the history of the venue! (If you didn’t know, it was formerly a school.) Too Cute.

Check out their website for more info! You won’t regret it.
