Personally, I love booking tours on vacation. I am not a fan of big giant tour groups, so I like to search for authentic tours with small groups – boat tours, audio guides I can do on my own, winery tours, etc.
When we were in Europe, Dan and I booked a few different tours that we felt were absolutely worth it like this Audio Guide for a self-guided tour in Dijon.
Another tour that was so fun, was our Boat Tour in Crete! It was a few hours with unlimited wine and beer, a delicious lunch on the boat, and all kinds of water equipment for us to swim and explore.
In Paris, we did the best river boat cruise. It was a great way to sight see while enjoying a glass of wine, beer or champagne.
I think booking a tour is a great way to explore a new city and learn about the history or culture!
