Ready to sip on vino in the Texas Wine Country? Fredericksburg’s winery list has been growing for the last 10 years, and it has some incredible wineries. Some of them are unique destinations while some are known for their award-winning wines.

Signor Vineyards

This is one of the most beautiful wineries in Texas. Signor Vineyards offers a captivating wine experience that left me and my girlfriends utterly enchanted. Signor Vineyards has a sprawling estate that is chic and rustic – it reminds me of Chip & Joanna Gaines (very Waco and cute.) There are plenty of large picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to relax with a bottle of wine or two with your friends.

The Rhinory

If you’re looking for one of the most unique wineries in Fredericksburg, The Rhinory is the first winery in Fredericksburg to come to mind. Not only do they have a beautiful modern tasting room and lots of outdoor seating, they have a RHINO. IRL. You can drink a glass of South African wine and maybe pet a rhino at the same time. The Rhino reserve is 55 acres along the Pedernales river. The winery is a great place to bring kids and learn about rhino conversation in an enjoyable setting. Reservations are highly recommended!

Slate Theory

Open your mind to a sensory experience. Slate Theory is all about creating an environment of art through wine and the beautiful tasting room. The tasting room at Slate Theory is moody and modern in the best possible ways. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors for large parties. Reservations aren’t required for tables in the tasting rooms, but if you want to do a production tour or cave tour, you’ll need to book a reservation. You can book the tour reservation online here for up to 12 people!
