A while ago, I wrote up an article on where to do Sunday Brunch with Outdoor Seating for yinz, but I know we all appreciate a fabulous Saturday brunch. The sun is shining so I am so excited for some mimosas on these gorgeous rooftops and patios in Pittsburgh!
The Abbey on Butler
Strip District
The Abbey has a fabulous Sunday Brunch menu with delicious breakfast biscuit sandwiches. Now that the weather’s nice, you can check out their beautiful patio lined with tables and flowers surrounding a fountain.

Roland’s Seafood Grill
Strip District
What better way to enjoy a bloody mary and a lobster roll than on a spacious rooftop overlooking the Strip District. Roland’s has an extensive seafood menu and a variety of wood fired pizzas if that’s not your thing!
Double Wide Grill
Southside
Double Wide has a great patio and a section that’s dog-friendly! Enjoy their weekend brunch menu full of brunch classics with a southern twist like the eggs benedict on cornbread. Enjoy it all with a bloody mary.
Mediterra Cafe
Mt. Lebanon
I have an obsession with Mediterra. The aesthetic is so cute and modern. They have fresh baked bread. They have deconstructed cocktails. And, for this post, they have a great outdoor patio.

Federal Galley
North Shore
The Federal Galley is a fabulous brunch choice because there are multiple restaurants with various menu options to choose! They have a large outdoor dining area that’s dog-friendly!
Cinderlands
Strip District
Brunch at the warehouse! Cinderlands in the strip district has a nice outdoor deck where you can enjoy Sunday Brunch. On their brunch menu, they have beer cakes, duck hash, and the classics. Enjoy it with one of their beers or a brunch cocktail!
Walter’s Southern Kitchen
Lawrenceville
Walter’s has a great outdoor patio that’s a ton of fun when it’s sunny in Pittsburgh. Bring your dogs and enjoy Sunday brunch!
Eleven
Strip District
Sunday Brunch with an outdoor space is calling your name at Eleven. Located in the Strip District. They have a prix fixe menu for brunch with some contemporary spins on the classics. I’m thinking about the polenta waffle with bananas foster, candied pecans, maple syrup, bacon.
Redfin Blues
North Shore
Redfin Blues might not have a brunch menu, but they have a spectacular patio right on the water. I just had to include them! They are open for lunch ours and have a great seafood menu and cocktails. Also, bring your pup! They love the doggos. Just take a look at their Instagram.
Geppetto Cafe
Lawrenceville
A fabulous brunch with crepes and french toast. Geppetto Cafe has a delicious brunch menu and an outdoor patio. Geppetto has been one of my favorites for a long time, I just love their atmosphere.

Carmella’s Plates & Pints
Southside
I love Carmella’s in the summer when you can sit outside and enjoy a carafe of mimosas with your girlfriends. Their brunch menu is available Saturdays and Sundays.
The Foundry
North Shore
Pre-Covid, Sunday Fundays were the best in the North Shore. If you’re bar hopping, The Foundry is a great place to start so you can enjoy their brunch menu and start drinking with a great Bloody Mary. While the weather’s nice, they have a beautiful patio with views of the Allegheny River.
Farmer X Baker
Aspinwall
A short drive outside the city is a fabulous farm to table outdoor dining experience overlooking the Allegheny River. It can get a bit crowded, so be prepared to wait on a sunny day! The menu changes often, so be sure to check their Instagram for the most up to date information.
Caffe Mona
Bloomfield
I’d be remiss if I didn’t include Caffe Mona in this list of restaurants with outdoor seating for brunch. Choosing from a variety of crepes seated beneath the rainbow umbrella covered patio will make you feel like a brunch queen or king!

Coughlin’s Law
Mt. Washington
Several restaurants in Mt. Washington have a fabulous view but not all of them have a fabulous brunch menu. On the weekends, Coughlin’s Law’s brunch menu includes a brunch board with pancakes and all of your brunch favorites!
Big Spring Spirits Seven Fields
Seven Fields
A boozy Sunday brunch at Big Spring Spirits will cure the Sunday Scaries. Big Spring Spirits has a great brunch menu with several breakfast cocktails and a few brunch classics.
Pasha Cafe
Shadyside
Turkish Mediterranean food and a cute patio atmosphere to make for a splendid brunch. On the breakfast/brunch menu you’ll have to try the Turkish Breakfast dish – eggs scrambled with chopped tomatoes, onions, green and red peppers.
