Anyone else going down memory lane? St. Patrick’s Day in 2020 was the last attempt at normalcy before the pandemic really shut everything down. This year we’re still in a pandemic, but there’s something for everyone if you’re looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with food and drinks! I put together a guide of specials happening in Pittsburgh as well as some awesome Irish recipes you can try to celebrate at home!
Pittsburgh Restaurants
Revel + Roost
Downtown
Did someone say bottomless mimosas? You heard that right! Brunch family style with bottomless mimosas. You can reserve a table for Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10 – 2 on their site.
Piper’s Pub
Southside
How can you start a St. Patrick’s Day celebration without a killer Irish brunch? You need this brunch menu any weekend, but most importantly to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. I need to get my hands on the Irish Boxty – Bangers, ham, scrambled eggs and Welsh cheddar cheese sauce. Take away only – order online.
Mediterra Cafe
Mt. Lebanon & Sewickley
So many green pastries and matcha lattes to get in the St. Patrick’s Day Spirit. If you’re dining in at the Mt. Lebanon location, enjoy a festive croissant with their incredible Bloody Mary. They also have several baked treats for a festive brunch at home.
Revival on Lincoln
Bellevue
So an afternoon tea isn’t exactly brunch, but an event that begins at noon is close enough in my eyes. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches featuring chicken salad croissants, corned beef with whole grain, and shrimp salad with baguettes paired with tea of course. Save room for dessert. Make your reservation online or call.
Twelve BBQ
Southside
Start your Saturday at 10:00 AM with BBQ and beer – what better way to brunch on St. Patrick’s Day honestly. There will be indoor and outdoor seating. The earlier you get there, the cheaper the cover charge according to their social media!
City Works
Downtown
City Works has a St. Patrick’s Day special with green beer, shepherds pie, and more. Brunch is typically served 11-3 Saturday and Sunday, so don’t overlook their brunch menu! Maybe trade the Guinness for a Beermosa, who knows!
Woods House
Hazelwood
For this St. Patrick’s Day only, Woods House is having brunch – starting at noon! Eggs, bacon, sausage and sautéed tomato over beans and toast to go with their amazing selection of Irish whiskeys. On the dinner menu, I am in love with the Macaroni & Cheese and the Guinness Seitan Steak Pie. Make a reservation to dine in or call take out!

Guinness is great, but adding a bit of champagne? Perfection.
