Anyone else going down memory lane? St. Patrick’s Day in 2020 was the last attempt at normalcy before the pandemic really shut everything down. This year we’re still in a pandemic, but there’s something for everyone if you’re looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with food and drinks! So many green pastries and matcha lattes to get in the St. Patrick’s Day Spirit. If you’re dining in at the Mt. Lebanon location, enjoy a festive croissant with their incredible Bloody Mary. They also have several baked treats for a festive brunch at home.
So an afternoon tea isn’t exactly brunch, but an event that begins at noon is close enough in my eyes. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches featuring chicken salad croissants, corned beef with whole grain, and shrimp salad with baguettes paired with tea of course. Save room for dessert. Start your Saturday at 10:00 AM with BBQ and beer – what better way to brunch on St. Patrick’s Day honestly. There will be indoor and outdoor seating. The earlier you get there, the cheaper the cover charge according to their social media!
City Works has a St. Patrick’s Day special with green beer, shepherds pie, and more. Brunch is typically served 11-3 Saturday and Sunday, so don’t overlook their brunch menu! Maybe trade the Guinness for a Beermosa, who knows!
For this St. Patrick’s Day only, Woods House is having brunch – starting at noon! Eggs, bacon, sausage and sautéed tomato over beans and toast to go with their amazing selection of Irish whiskeys. On the dinner menu, I am in love with the Macaroni & Cheese and the Guinness Seitan Steak Pie. Make a reservation to dine in or call take out!
