The Big Reveal: Secret Ingredient Christmas Cookies

December 12, 2021 (Last Updated: December 30, 2021)

These mint cookies are my absolute favorite, so you, your family, your friends, and random people on the street will be obsessed with these Mint Chocolate Chip cookies. I promise whatever holiday party you bring them to, you’ll leave with an empty tray.

The mint in the chocolate chip cookie makes them taste like Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies but these have the delightful chewy texture of a chocolate chip cookie.

For this recipe, I used the original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip cookie recipe and added a secret ingredient for the mint flavor. (Any guesses?)

I added these mint chocolate chip cookies to a fun dessert/cookie board for our Christmas party!

You can try this recipe with any classic chocolate chip cookie recipe, like these deliciously fluffy melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chip cookies, but I can’t make promises that yours will turn out as yummy as these. Let me know in the comments if you do and how it goes!! I’d love to know.

Okay, I’ll stop burying the lead. I used A LOT of Andes Creme de Menthe Chocolate Mint Baking Chips. The cookie dough absorbs the creme de menthe flavor and transforms into the ultimate Christmas cookie. You’ll eat the whole tray.
