Where to Order Brunch Takeout in Pittsburgh This Weekend

Brunch isn’t exactly a necessity, so I’m so excited that a number of restaurants in Pittsburgh are offering brunch menus/brunch items during this second semi-lockdown.

Paris 66 Sunday Brunch

From 10 am – 2 pm on Sundays, you can enjoy some delicious French brunch takeout options. La Gourmandine

Various Locations: Hazelwood, Mt Lebanon, Lawrenceville, Downtown

This is one of the best French bakeries in Pittsburgh, so don’t let having to order your brunch in advance cancel your weekend plans. There are a variety of savory and sweet french bites – everything from quiche lorraine to croissants and everything in between. Allow for a 72 hour notice to place your order on their website.

Order to go from the current kitchens – Provision (American), Shaka (Progressive Asian cuisine, Hawaiian Fusion), Sultry (American). Between the various brunch menus from each kitchen, you can find Blackened Steak & Eggs (Sultry F&B), Loco Moco (Shaka), and Croque Madame (Provision PGH).

As of writing this, they have amazing brunch specials like Red Velvet Pancakes and Brisket Sandwiches, and they have a variety of pancake kits to make a decadent brunch with the family at home. Always love a good crepe and coffee for brunch! They offer takeout or delivery through Doordash, UberEats, and grubhub. Hopefully in the summer we’ll be able to dine together on their umbrella shaded patio.

Sunday Brunch bloody marys and biscuit sandwiches are calling your name. Muddy Waters has a brunch takeout menu on Sundays from 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM that features lobster egg benedict, po boys, french toast, beignets and cocktails. Order through their online menu for pickup.

The Speckled Egg

Brunch kits are here! The Speckled Egg has put together a kit of all the brunch necessities, you can preorder either their breakfast sandwich kit or the Rise & Shine which includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit cup, coffee, and cold press orange juice. They also have cocktail kits. Order for pickup through their online ordering system. Their regular lunch menu will be available to go on the weekends if you didn’t get a chance to order the brunch kit in time.

Pipers Pub

South Side

Pipers Pub’s brunch is in full swing on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at this time. Check out their current brunch menu which has a classic English or an Irish Breakfast, a variety of boxties (also known as a potato pancake), and house-made belgian yeast waffles. The Vandal created a brunch menu for those of us that wish we could have traveled in 2020. Their “Wish You Were Here” brunch menu features various biscuit and bagel sandwich items inspired by Atlanta, New York, Nashville, and of course Pittsburgh. Order through their online brunch menu for a scheduled pickup time.

Always love a restaurant that serves breakfast all day. Cafe Raymond offers several breakfast sandwiches and breakfast cocktails to go (must show your ID on arrival.) Check out their online menu to order.

I wish we could dine inside this quirky restaurant, but luckily we can eat all the goods at home. You can try the crepes, sandwiches, and french toast by placing an order for pick up online or ordering through their delivery site.
