October 9, 2019 (Last Updated: December 15, 2019)

Take one peak at the events on Facebook, and you’ll see a hundred fall festivals near Pittsburgh. This week, there aren’t many brunch events, so I pulled a list of all the foodie/brunch events that look the most fun/delicious!

Sunny Side Up October 12, 2019 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

If the weather doesn’t rain on their parade, this will be the last outdoor brunch by Pittsburgh Sandwich Society and Very Local Pittsburgh. Personally, I can’t wait to sink my teeth into their Just Good Fried Chicken – “deep fried chicken thigh, melted cheese, candied ‘penos, griddled Just Good Doughnut.”

Burgatory Burger Bash. October 12, 2019 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM

I tend to lean towards breakfast food when I order brunch, but sometimes a juicy burger is the perfect hangover cure. This Saturday, there will be burgers fighting for your vote and lots of cocktails at the waterfront. Just to name a few Or, The Whale PGH, Coughlin’s Law Kitchen and Ale House, The Vault Taproom, and Winghart’s Burger & Whiskey Bar will be there!

Threadbare Fall Fest 2019. October 12, 2019 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

There is always a fun event happening at Threadbare, and this weekend is no exception. There will be pumpkin decorating, you can build your own caramel apples, and Mezza Luna Cafe is bringing the pumpkin and apple pastries!

Cozy drinking coffee reading a book.

Coffee-ology at Cheesecake Caffe. October 12, 2019 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM

Imagine. It’s a Saturday morning. You look out the window. It’s pouring down rain. You’re wearing a big oversized sweater. You walk to the kitchen. You pour yourself a French press coffee. And finally, you sit on the couch and read a book. Ugh, doesn’t it sound perfect? Well, it would be subpar if the coffee sucked, so maybe check out this class. You’ll learn to make several types of coffees – auto drip, pour over, French press, and cold brew.

Smoketoberfest. October 13, 2019 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Yoga + Brunch Ballet Benefit. October 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM

Yoga and brunch are always a fun combo! Yoga is taught by Maggie Black Yoga N’at. After a great yoga session, enjoy try the house made cheese & pasta at Cenacolo. Or, go for their brunch items and taste the blueberry ricotta pancake or a more hearty dish of short ribs, poached eggs, hollandaise, & roasted potatoes. (Also, the proceeds benefit new, nonprofit Westmoreland Ballet Company & school)

Aperitivo with Katie Parla at DiAnoia’s Eatery October 13, 2019 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

On any given weekend, Dianoia’s Eatery has a fabulous Italian brunch menu that features spaghetti pie and prosciutto eggs benedict. However, I’m really excited about food and travel journalist, Katie Parla! Her most recent book is Food of the Italian South, which has 85 recipes and the “historical and cultural insights that encapsulate the miles of rugged beaches, sheep-dotted mountains, meditatively quiet towns, and, most important, culinary traditions.” I cannot wait to dive into it, but the event is this Sunday.
